Rolling in dough biscuits recipe



Recipe for rolling in dough biscuits in our easy biscuit recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1, 16 ounces, sour cream
  • 3 cups, 12 ounces, shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced

How to make rolling in dough biscuits

  • Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
  • Add sour cream, Cheddar cheese and peppers, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a 4 inch round cutter.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes.
